As part of the complementary activities of the European Congress of Methodology 2025, two optional excursions have been organized for attendees, aimed at promoting knowledge of the local cultural and gastronomic heritage. Both excursions are free and require prior registration as spaces are limited. Interested parties will be advised to register as soon as possible via the congress registration form.
Activities are only available to those registered for the congress.
Tacoronte Tour
Date: Friday, 25th, from 18:00 to 20:00.
Departure and Return Location: Registered participants will be informed in advance.
Registration: Free.
This excursion, organized in collaboration with the Tacoronte City Council, offers congress attendees a cultural and gastronomic experience in one of the villages with the richest winemaking tradition in northern Tenerife.
Included Activities:
- Bus transfer provided by the City Council.
- Guided walk through the historic center of Tacoronte, led by local guides. The tour will be conducted in Spanish; in case of international attendees, translation support will be arranged.
- Afternoon snack and tasting of local products, including a selection of cheeses, local wines, and traditional nougats.
- Handicraft market space, where attendees can learn about and purchase products made by local artisans.
Guided Visit to the Historic Center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna
- Dates: Friday, 25th, 17:00 and Saturday, 26th, 11:00.
- Meeting Point: Confirmed to registered participants.
- Registration: Free.
Congress attendees are offered a cultural visit to the historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage City and an architectural, historical, and university landmark in the Canary Islands.
The activity consists of:
- A walking tour through the historic center, accompanied by a specialized guide.
- An introduction to the city’s history, architecture, and main cultural milestones.
